N.B. Kenney received this prestigious award for its work on the Wayland project. Presented by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Massachusetts, the award applauds projects that demonstrate superior collaboration from all stakeholders and that exceed goals while meeting budget requirements.

Energy Contract, Town of Grafton

Project Scope: N.B. Kenney was retained by the Town’s consultant, Honeywell Building Solutions, to perform mechanical work to make the Municipal building and the High School more energy efficient. This work involved removing the existing steam plant and window A/C units that had been heating and cooling the building and installing high-efficiency condensing boilers, a cooling tower and a heat exchanger to supply over 80 heat pumps that now condition the building. Contract value of the project was $2.4M.
